Team Philadelphia is pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending March 3, 2019. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2018-19 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Bantam and Midget levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Bantam A American – Gunnar Grove, Forward
Gunnar led Team Philadelphia to a 4-0 record in the Country and Western Showdown in Nashville, TN over the weekend, clinching the Bantam A title.  He scored eight goals, including two hat tricks, as well as the game winner in three of his team’s four victories. For the season, he leads the team with 44 tallies.

“I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Gunnar in three of the last four seasons, and this year has been his best yet” stated head coach Brian Boucher. “Not only is he a threat to score every time he touches the puck, but his work ethic and quiet leadership by example have pushed his team to greater heights all year” concluded Boucher.
