Team Philadelphia is pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending September 15, 2019. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2019-20 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Bantam, Midget and 18U levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

16U 2004 Team – First Star
Ryan Hsieh played exceptional all weekend providing offensive and defensive contributions.

16U 2004 Team – Second Star
Goaltender Gavin Bobst was the winning goalie in the team’s 3 – 2 victory in overtime to capture the Silver Stick Regional 15UAA division championship.

16U A National – First Start
Forward Harrison Weingartner scored the game-winning goal in overtime against the Delco Phantoms to give the 16U A National team a 1 – 0 victory on Sunday.

Bantam B National Orange – First Star
Goaltender Anthony Barbuto played both games and backstopped the team to two wins in the first league games of the year.  He stopped 19 of 22 shots in a 5-3 win over Haverford Hawks on Saturday and then came back with a 26 save shutout in a 2-0 win over the VF Colonials on Sunday night. 

Bantam B National Black – First Star
Forward Patrick Li had four points (3 goals and 1 assist) this past weekend. He had two points (1 goal and 1 assist) against Wintersport and he had two goals against the Delco Phantoms.

Bantam B National Black – Second Star
Forward Alvin Grubb had two points (1 goal and 1 assist) this past weekend against the Phantoms.

Bantam B National Black – Third Star
Thomas Schillinger had two points (1 goal and 1 assist) against the Delco Phantoms this past weekend.

Bantam B National Black – Honorable Mention
Forward Daniel Kephart had two points (1 goal and 1 assist) in Sunday’s win against Delco. Goaltender Brady Iddon-Raught stopped a penalty shot with 54.7 seconds to go to preserve a 4-4 tie with Wintersport A.
