Team Philadelphia is pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending November 17, 2019. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2019-20 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Bantam, Midget and 18U levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Bantam A National Black – Jack Anderson – First Star
With just 55 seconds remaining in Saturday's second game against the Montgomery Blue Devils, Jack Anderson scored the winning goal in a closely contested 3-2 game. In addition to the game winner, Jack had an additional two assists over the weekend.  Anderson has been a versatile contributor throughout the season filling holes in both the offense and defense for a team riddled with injuries.

Bantam A National Black – Tyler Kirk – Second Star
Tyler is a player who helps his line mates become better players.  Regardless of the skaters he's on the ice with - his line consistently produces.  This weekend, Tyler had four points (2 goals and 2 assists) in a 9-0 win; he had an assist on the game winner in the 3-2 victory, and he had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) in the team’s 3-0 shutout against Palmyra.

Bantam B National Orange – Anthony Barbuto - First Star
Barbuto turned aside 28 of 29 shots (.965 sv%) in Sunday’s 3 – 1 victory over the Haverford Hawks.

Bantam B National Orange – William Davis - Second Star
Davis had two goals in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over the Hawks.

Bantam B National Orange – Clay Smart - Honorable Mention
Smart had one assist while he and his fellow defensemen did a great job shutting down a physical Hawks team.
