Team Philadelphia’s names Players of the Week for week ending January 19

Team Philadelphia is pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending January 19, 2020. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2019-20 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Bantam, Midget and 18U levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Bantam A National Black - Gabe Bedwell
Gabe brought his tenacity and energy to this weekend's games.  He scored two goals over the weekend, including the game winning goal late in the third period of a closely contested 1-0 shutout against the eventual tournament winner from Ottawa.

Bantam B National Orange – Anthony Barbuto - First Star
Goaltender Anthony Barbuto played all four games for the team at the Liberty Cup tournament this weekend with a record of 2-2.  He made many outstanding saves while compiling a 1.75 goals against average

Bantam B National Orange – Ethan Levengood - Second Star
Levengood had four points (3 goals and 1 assist) over the course of the tournament to lead the team in scoring while also playing a strong two-way game.

Bantam B National Orange – Owen Waltermyer - Honorable Mention
Waltermyer was a versatile player for the team as he played offense and defense and contributed with one assist while playing physical and making many stand out plays during the tournament.
