Team Philadelphia’s Pee Wee A National and American teams finished second and third respectively in the Liberty Cup Winter Classic tournament this past weekend held at Oaks Center Ice in Oaks, PA.

The National team had an overall record of 4 – 1. They defeated the Skyland Kings 5 – 1, Utica Jr. Comets 7 – 2, New England Knights 5 – 3 and Jr. Comets again 6 – 4 to advance to the finals where they eventually lost to the Knights 3 – 2.

The American team had an overall record 3 – 1. They defeated the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 5 -1, Kings 2 – 0 and the Jr. Comets 7 – 4 before losing to the Knights 4 – 1.
