Team Philadelphia announces Bantam and Midget players of the week for week ending February 17

Team Philadelphia is pleased to announce the organization’s Players of the Week for week ending February 17, 2019. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2018-19 regular season that recognizes top performing players for the Bantam and Midget levels. Only players that are recommended by their respective teams are considered for the Players of the Week award.

Bantam B National Black Player of the Week – Dax Nguyen, Forward
Dax strong play powered Team Philadelphia to The Presidential Power Play championship. Dax tallied five points in five games, including two game-winning-goals, one of which which was in the championship game. He tallied two goals in his team’s 4-2 win over Northern Virginia Ice Dogs to capture the tournament.

Bantam B National Orange Player of the Week – Connor Orkin and Brady Callahan – Forwards
Orkin and Callahan were instrumental in their team advancing to the Presidential Power Play tournament semi-finals. In four games, Orkin scored six goals while Callahan had six points (3 goals and 3 assists).

Bantam AA Player of the Week – No award
Jimmy scored a hat trick on Sunday as he and his teammates won 5 – 4 over the Philadelphia Revolution.

Bantam A National Player of the Week – No award

Midget Player of the Week - No award
